The motor has been designed to fit both the thruster mechanical constraints (e.g. special fabricated steel flange) and the electrical requirements 313kW @ 415V variable speed.
Enhanced insulation system, bearing concept avoiding circulating currents, high power density, best in class performance – read 0.5 mm/s RMS vibrations @ full speed per IEC 60034-14 standards
